| Beatgoeson Hanover Best in Mare Trot Elimination By Frank and Ray Cotolo October 20, 2012 Beatgoeson Hanover trotted a leisure mile to win the Breeders Crown Mare Trot elimination in 1:54 at Woodbine on Saturday. Oh Sweet Baby took the lead, with Tamla Celeber S in second and Mystical Starlight in third. Bax Of Life was first over in fourth at the quarter in :27.3. Passing the three-eighths, Beatgoeson Hanover came first over from fourth and did not hesitate to take the lead, clearing at the half in :57.2 (:29.4). Into the far turn, Beatgoeson Hanover had a 4-length lead on the field as Oh Sweet Baby was fading at the inside. Tamla Celeber S was locked in the pocket and Bax Of Life was beginning to rally. Autumn Escapade was second over and Mystical Starlight third over. Beatgoeson Hanover took them by three-quarters in 1:24.4 (:27.2) and held her lead, but began to drift out down the lane. Autumn Escapade surged off cover and Tamla Celeber S was also looking for room. Bax Of Life rallied late as well but Beatgoeson Hanover got to the wire in time to win in 1:54 (:29.1). Autumn Escapade finished second, Mystical Starlight was third and Bax Of Life finished fourth. Tamla Celeber S, Pantholops and Cleopatre Duharas also proceed to next week’s final. Frenchfrysnvinegar, Pembroke Heat Wave and Cedar Dove took byes into the final. Beatgoeson Hanover ($4.20) is by Andover Hall, out of the mare Beat The Wheel by Defiant Yankee.
